Have been having treatment here for a few long standing issues and have found everybody to be kind and considerate of my problems and very polite .
Have been treated by Stephen for the last 12 years and once again he has helped me recover from a recent bout of neck pain. I have always found him to be professional, caring and punctual.
Please note I have not given this a 3 star rating!! Following a first physio session my condition which had been improving resulted in my having severe back pain for the last 10 days and left me having to visit the minor injury clinic twice, including 2 doctor's appointments and now a visit to a spinal nurse. I called to leave feedback to suggest that perhaps I should not have had any massage under the circumstances and had no call returned until i sent an email to the head of the practice Mr Comfort who didn't even reply. I spoke with him today concerning my pain and it was clear he was only interested in avoiding my issues and mentioned 3 times his heavily pregnany physio who had treated me (5 months..heavily pregnant really?!) had been reduced to tears by my giving feedback over a calm telephone call. Mr Comfort wasn't concerned i had been in tears on several occasions myself since my visit!..and adding insult to injury was trying to make me feel guilty for my feedback..clearly avoiding the issues i had raised! The explanation for no follow up calls was because they have lots of patients or is it customers..calling back with complaints about pain so they don't have the time. I rest my case!!
Absolutely awful and definitely comfort by name only; this guy is rude, unprofessional and a complete timewaster. I thought the whole idea of a physio was to relieve pain not aggravate it. How on earth he managed to get on the NHS register is as much an indictment of their selection criteria as it is a complete joke. If you've got lots of money, nothing to fill your time with and enjoy abuse, I'd highly recommend him.
He is very good, especially if you have a repetitive injury type pain . He helped to counteract it and I haven't suffered from itsince!
