Really good chips they do.
They could serve bad food and id still come here just because the staff are so great. Lucky the foods great too. Plenty of options for vegans too.
The fish and chips from here, especially the haddock, are one of the best I have ever had. Once a month I head over to Walmer for their fish and chips before going to Deal got evening. Highly recommended.
This has restored faith in seaside fish and chips, all too often we have gone out for the day and been let down with non tasty ultra greasy food. However I am really please to say, chips lovely as well as the fish. I also like the service culture owner has instilled. You can get wooden forks which are actually sturdier than plastic ones and more eco friendly, wet wipes and napkins simple thing but when added to the quality of the food highly recommend. So our next day pottering down by the sea we will return
The service is exceptional, the takeaway is often very busy but the queue moves quickly and the staff are never flustered. The food is well cooked, the batter crispy and tasty. It is well located for the band stand and the Sunday brass bands hosted there throughout the summer.
