Lovely little cafe by Deal seafront. DELICIOUS coffee and eggs. Everyone was kind and attentive and the place itself is strange and wonderful. Would travel to Deal just to have the Agitato eggs again

This was our second visit to this quirky caf. Our first visit had been lengthy and memorable with lots of chat, some delicious food after a fair wait and a great atmosphere. This time the waitress was very sweet and helpful though the wait was equally long. However, we were expecting that as there was one cook preparing everything. The food was tasty when it came, though 12 for a big veggie breakfast is dear. Be aware they only take cash. It has a good atmosphere in the main room but there is a picture in the shared toilets that trivializes suicide and that really did affect the overall experience. I hope they remove it.
Really unique place, very friendly and the meat is amazing. Try the black pudding.
Had a great coffee and fantastically tasty cake here. Wish wed had time to go back for a meal as everything arriving at the other tables looked great.Staff were very friendly and the place was very cosy with nice homely decoration. If you do go - check out the wallpaper in the toilet Only small issue was that they dont take card meaning we had to dash out for some cash. Not a problem if you know in advance but could be solved by a little Zettle (or similar) Card machine attached to a phone.
